What information is traditionally engraved on the hangers?
There are no rules! We can engrave names, designations (e.g. Bride, Bridesmaid) and dates — or any combination of these. The text is fully customisable to suit your wedding.
Can I choose different fonts to match my wedding stationery?
Yes — we can engrave in any Adobe or Canva font. Simply reach out to us via WhatsApp and let us know your requirements.
How visible is the engraving on different wood finishes?
On beechwood and white hangers the engraving is beautifully dark and very visible. On our soft touch black hangers we use UV printing instead of engraving, which ensures excellent visibility and creates a premium aesthetic.
Do you offer lowercase-only modern script fonts, or can I include capital letters?
On our swash font hangers only lowercase is possible. With all other font styles, capital letters can be included.
Are the hangers strong enough to hold a heavy wedding gown or multiple layers of tulle?
Yes — our hangers are made from durable wood and are built to hold heavy garments, including wedding gowns and layered tulle skirts.
Do the hangers have notches or non-slip grips to stop strapless dresses from sliding off?
Yes — all our hangers have notches to keep strapless and delicate gowns securely in place.
Are there smaller sizes available for flower girls or junior bridesmaids?
Yes — we offer a kiddies size option, available in beechwood and white finishes.
Is the wood smooth, or could it snag delicate fabrics like silk, satin or lace?
All our hangers are sanded smooth and snagging should not occur, making them safe to use with even the most delicate bridal fabrics.
Do you make matching masculine versions for the groom and groomsmen?
Yes — all our hangers include trouser bars and can be personalised in a similar font to the bridesmaids' hangers, or in a more masculine block letter style for the gents.
Can I customise roles for the extended wedding party?
Absolutely — the text is fully customisable for every role. Whether it's Officiant, MC, Man of Honour or anything else, we can engrave it.
Can the text be engraved in Afrikaans?
Yes — we engrave in any language.
Is the engraving permanent, or could it peel or fade over time?
We only use laser engraving and UV printing — both of which are permanent and durable. They do not peel, fade or wear off over time.
Can these hangers fit inside standard bridesmaid proposal boxes or gift bundles?
Because our hangers are full adult size, rigid gift boxes are generally not large enough to accommodate them. They do however fit beautifully inside our personalised beach tote bags, which make a lovely alternative presentation.
